There's always something delicious on our menu for young and old alike. Of course, there are pancakes, with classic toppings and bold new combinations. Prefer meat or fish? No problem there’s plenty to choose from. Our tip: definitely save room for dessert! Once the little ones are done eating, they’re quick to swap their fork for colouring pencils. The kids' corner is like a magnet, with plenty of games waiting for them. Handy! That gives you a moment to enjoy the final treat of the evening: a little drink, or a cup of coffee or tea.
For groups
Groups are more than welcome at Strends End. Anything is possible just ask! We can arrange it all, from pancake dinners to full programs including coffee, drinks, and a buffet. Outside the holidays, Strends End can even be rented for big parties. Great food, a DJ, and dancing all night. Whatever you’re celebrating, we’ll make sure it’s unforgettable.

Of course, we’re a great stop for all cyclists. Whether you're riding along the Wadden Sea dike or following a knooppunt (cycling junction) route, Strends End is the perfect spot to recharge. And we’re not the only ones who love tradition: coffee with apple pie remains wildly popular. Another crowd-pleaser is our waffle with fresh strawberries and whipped cream a real hefty treat that’ll fuel you for the next stretch. Stop by in the afternoon and relax on the terrace a Texel beer with finger food makes for a tasty alternative.

“Since 2017, I’ve been the owner of Restaurant Strends End a great opportunity I’ve never regretted. As a chef, I’d already spent many years in the kitchen, including at a pancake restaurant run by fellow locals. I’ve got the knack for making great pancakes! My secret? I won’t spill it but the fresh milk from Zuivelboerderij Texel is absolutely worth its weight in gold. I love surprising guests with playful twists. Lamb ham, sheep’s cheese, strawberries... Texel ingredients are a must. That said, I serve up a mean sole or spareribs just as gladly. Our team turns every meal into a little celebration.”
